I used to think I could be a perfect parent. Obviously that was before I actually had any kids. I was admittedly idealistic, and I truly believed that if I could read the right books, follow the right experts, and hone my instincts then I could be the perfect parent I envisioned.

I’ve completed coursework in interpersonal neurobiology with Dan Siegel;
and I’m a graduate of SmartBody SmartMind with Irene Lyon.
I see parenting as one big, ever-changing experiment. By embracing this mindset, I've learned to lighten up on myself and show my children that mistakes are just stepping stones to growth.
